Hey look, it's me and The Pioneer Woman , my new BFF. By Ree! I was able to go to a book signing for The Pioneer Woman's new cookbook ! She spoke before the book signing and it was so neat to listen to her. There were a TON of people there. I waited 5 hours to have her sign my book but it It was TOTALLY worth it. She was so sweet, so beautiful, so gracious. Sigh. It was a very, very cool experience. And no, I will probably never change my FaceBook profile picture again!

        Papa and I took the girlies to an Easter egg hunt at our church. They loved it! They did well hunting for eggs. It was a glow in the dark egg hunt and they both did well in the dark room. Allie had 4 eggs and Gracie had quite a little stash. Allie won a little blow up bunny and Gracie got a beach ball. Allie was really excited about the Easter Bunny--from across the room. Gracie was super excited to have her picture taken with the Easter Bunny. It was a fun morning.

Guests: Nanny & Papa, Aunt Evelyn & Uncle Paul, Gracie & Momma, Auntie, and lots of cousins. Theme: Princess Party.

Gracie LOVES to chop boiled eggs. (We give her a plastic knife.) I am amazed at how well she does.

  Going to Aunt Nette's school for donuts is a fun way to spend a Friday morning!

The girls love eating oatmeal with raisins and brown sugar before church on Sunday morning.

Gracie loves nail polish. She was very excited when Alice and Aunt Faye wanted to paint fingernails. They were even brave, and patient enough, to paint Allie's nails, too!
