2 Years.

  • She loves to color. She is constantly saying, "I drawing! I drawing!". I find her laying on the floor, sitting on the couch, in her room, coloring. She loves it.

  • She is talking a lot and is usually pretty easy to understand. 

  • She calls Daddy's belt a seat belt.

  • Favorite shows: The Cosby Show, Super Why & Veggie Tales.

  • She still loves bath-time. She has finally calmed down about having her hair washed. She likes to sit in Sissy's bath seat when Sissy is done.

  • She has had her hair cut one time (just the back). She is starting to need another trim.

  • She is starting to like having her hair hair in a ponytail (on the top of her head). She also likes barrettes in her hair. 

  • She is still a picky eater. She loves cereal (Cheerios, Kix and Raisin Bran are favorites), chicken, corn, beans, raisins, crasins, Taco Bell rice, toast, M&Ms.;

  • She still LOVES milk.

  • She likes blocks and books.

  • She is getting better at sharing with Sissy.

  • She sleeps with a ton of stuffed animals in her bed. She also has a blanket in there. 

  • Wt: 14.195 90-95%

  • Ht 87.3 50-75%

  • HC 48.6 75-90%

Gracie Arrives.

I have been meaning to get into the habit of posting. I think about it every day. Then, the day gets away from me. But, I know there is so much that I am going to want to remember so I am going to try really hard to get something posted every week-day. May as well set the bar high, right? =) So, I thought I would start with a recap of Gracie's birth. Wed Oct 15th: We have our 39 week doctor appt. We are scheduled for an ultrasound before the dr visit. The ultrasound shows that the baby is 8 pounds 14 ounces. Mommy is a little stunned and has a hard time getting up and leaving the office. We see the dr and he explains that the baby could be one pound bigger or one pound larger than the weight the ultrasound showed. Either way we are looking at an 8-10 pound baby. Mommy is still in shock. The dr checks me and determines that nothing is really happening and things are not favorable to induce the baby. We can wait and see if I go into labor or we can schedule a c-section. If we get
