This girl.

This girl loves to eat. She has reached the point where she will try almost anything. She likes about 90% of what she tries. In these photos, this girl is eating cinnamon melts. This girl is a fan of meat off the grill. She recently devoured grilled pork chops. She did not like the rice that I served with it.  This girl devoured the strawberries and the peaches I cut up for her.   This girl was a mess after dinner. This girl was super happy and super satisfied.

The Beach.

This morning, we packed up and headed to the beach. Allie was content to play with the sand while sitting on the blanket. We tried to get her into the water but she wasn't really into it. This girl was AMAZING. She has never been this comfortable walking on the sand or playing in the water before. It was so awesome to see her having so much fun at the beach. While we were all playing on the blanket, this little boy came along and started playing with our soccer ball. Gracie started playing with him and didn't even notice that she as running around on the sand without shoes on. After the little guy left, I asked her if she wanted to go down to the water. I was really surprised that she let the water touch her feet. It was cold, but she did not care. She just wanted to keep playing. It was great to see her having so much fun. She also had a lot of fun in the water with Dad. It was a great morning at the beach.

Pool.

We put the pull up this afternoon. It was a great way to start off a long, holiday weekend.

Makeup.

Someone is developing quite a love for makeup. Can you see what she put on this morning?

Park.

We had an awesome time at the park this morning. This was the first time Allie really climbed and played on the play structure. It was awesome! We were able to play for about an hour. We can't wait to go back soon!

Fountains.

We wanted to get out of the house this afternoon so we decided to walk around the mall. Most of the malls around here are outdoor malls. The one we went to this afternoon had several large fountains. The girlies loved playing in the water. We tried to keep them dry but that didn't work very well. We had to stop at The Children's Place and get Gracie some dry clothes. We picked up dinner at Red Robin (yum.) and headed home. It was a great evening.

Dressed up and ready for church.

Library.

Thursdays are our library day. We love our library.

Game.

This basket is Allie's new favorite spot. She loves to climb in and out of it. Over and over and over again. It drives Gracie crazy when Allie is in the basket.

Chocolate Cake.

Someone enjoyed the chocolate cake I made.

Chik-fil-A.

Today, the girlies and I went to Chik-fil -A for lunch. The food was yummy.  Gracie had a lot of fun sitting on the "couch (the bench seat). They both ate lunch. No one had a melt down. Allie did not climb completely out of her chair and onto the table. They had a lot of fun in the play place. Gracie climbed much higher on the play structure than I ever would have imagined.

Father's Day Photos.

Some Father's Day photos before heading to church (on Sat. night): Thanks for being such an awesome Daddy! We love you!

Together.

Two girls. Playing nicely together. For a few minutes. Captured on my iPhone. Photo quality = no that great. Memories = amazing.

Hair.

Daddy played around with Allie's hair--being silly--while she was in her high-chair this evening: I put the pony tail holder in a little more snug and it stayed up! I hadn't even thought about trying to pull her hair up since Gracie didn't have long enough hair at this age to put in a "pony-tail." It is fun to do her hair now since she won't wear headbands anymore! (I wonder how long it will be before she can pull the pony tail out!)

The Zoo.

Gracie was in the mood to see the panda, so we visited the zoo this morning. (We sure love going to church on Saturday evening!) We got there a few minutes before it opened--and scored the best parking spot ever. We had to hang out for a few minutes before we could head inside: Gracie took this one: A new straw for her collection: The panda: Gracie watching the panda: She LOVES the pandas! It was a great morning at the zoo and it was fantastic to be leaving as the crowds were coming in!
