The Beach.

This morning, we packed up and headed to the beach.

Allie was content to play with the sand while sitting on the blanket. We tried to get her into the water but she wasn't really into it.

This girl was AMAZING. She has never been this comfortable walking on the sand or playing in the water before. It was so awesome to see her having so much fun at the beach. While we were all playing on the blanket, this little boy came along and started playing with our soccer ball. Gracie started playing with him and didn't even notice that she as running around on the sand without shoes on. After the little guy left, I asked her if she wanted to go down to the water. I was really surprised that she let the water touch her feet. It was cold, but she did not care. She just wanted to keep playing. It was great to see her having so much fun.

She also had a lot of fun in the water with Dad.

May as well set the bar high, right? =) So, I thought I would start with a recap of Gracie's birth. Wed Oct 15th: We have our 39 week doctor appt. We are scheduled for an ultrasound before the dr visit. The ultrasound shows that the baby is 8 pounds 14 ounces. Mommy is a little stunned and has a hard time getting up and leaving the office. We see the dr and he explains that the baby could be one pound bigger or one pound larger than the weight the ultrasound showed. Either way we are looking at an 8-10 pound baby. Mommy is still in shock. The dr checks me and determines that nothing is really happening and things are not favorable to induce the baby. We can wait and see if I go into labor or we can schedule a c-section. If we get

I made butterscotch pudding recently and let Gracie try some. She was pretty excited:
