Sweet Girl.

Ready.

Ready for church.   Ready for basketball. Gracie's face says it all. OU did not pull out a win today so they won't make it into the Final Four. We actually picked North Carolina to win the game, so we get points for that! We are still winning our family basketball pool. Yeah! Happy Sunday, all!

The Couch.

I downloaded pictures from my camera a few days ago and came across this picture:   Yes, it would appear that our baby is trying to scale the couch.   Then she got tired and took a break.   She didn't rest for very long. That little bottom is up in the air again.   Come on, everyb ody ! Cheer me on! I can conquer the couch!   The big finish! She is getting her whole body into it and kissing the couch. What a girl!

5 Months.

Shopping.

This morning, I decided it was time to get out of the house. It is still freezing cold here, and windy, but I decided that we needed to go out anyway. I planned it so we could leave after Gracie woke up from her nap and ate. We ran to WalMart for a birthday gift . She did great in the store and even sat in the cart! She can sit up, with help, but I wasn't sure if she would be comfortable with the strap holding her up. She seemed to enjoy being able to look around and see everything. It certainly made shopping much easier--holding her and pushing a cart is quite a tall order. I grabbed the gift first in case she didn't last long. I was so excited that we were able to walk around a bit after we grabbed what we really needed. I found Gracie a cute shirt . I love that they have some cute, inexpensive children's clothing. The shopping really tuckered Gracie out--she almost fell asleep on my shoulder walking to the car! That is very unlike her, she is usually watching everythin

Three.

This is another page I made last week. I am liking it more now than I did after I finished it. As hard as I try, I cannot cut straight. So, I was a little frustrated with the way the paper strips looked once I put them on the page. But, I like it overall and I scrapped a photo of the three of us that I just adore. I am so happy to have a page about this photo and my thoughts on being a family of three. And, both pages I made last week are in an album! Whohooo!

Socks.

Gracie all dressed and ready for church on Sunday morning. We weren't fast enough to get a photo with her shoes on.   The tongue is out and the feet are going. How long do you think those socks will stay on?   Success!   Our beautiful girl!

I Scrapped!

I am so excited. I made a page yesterday!:   I found a sketch  online and is that ever the way to go. I was able to finish this during Gracie's naptime! How awesome is that? I love naptime. =) I loved not having to sit there and figure out where to put everything. It totally took away the pressure. I used my new goodies , which was also super fun. I love having pre-coordinated stuff to choose from. I also love that it came with these . This was the first scrapbook page I have made for/of Gracie and it felt great. It was awesome to record memories for her. I am not sure if I love the sticker in between the 2 photos, but it is a sticker and it won't come off. So, it stays. Perfection is not my game, people. I liked that the sketch had a place for paper, and helped me layer the paper, and had a place for the title and journal, but that was it. So, the rub-ons across the top and the sticker were my additions. I also changed were the journaling was supposed to be. There w
